Custom Signs

Custom signs are made to order and personalised with specific text, instructions, or design details to suit a business, property, or workplace.

In Australia, businesses commonly use custom signage for safety warnings, construction site information, parking restrictions, private property notices, and workplace instructions.

K2K Signs supplies Australian-made custom signs in a range of text layouts, sizes, and materials, including plastic, metal, self-adhesive vinyl, and magnetic options. Select a sign template, add your message and order online with free Australia-wide delivery.

What Types of Custom Signs Can You Order?

Custom signs can display safety warnings, access restrictions, parking instructions or general information that standard signs may not cover.

• Custom safety and warning signs: Danger Custom Text Signs, Warning Custom Text Signs and Restricted Area Custom Text Signs allow you to specify hazard warnings and access instructions.

• Custom parking and traffic signs: No Parking Custom Text Signs and Stop Custom Text Signs can communicate site-specific vehicle and parking instructions.

• Custom notice and information signs: Custom Notice Signs and White Background / Black Text Signs are suitable for displaying workplace notices, property information and general instructions.

How Do You Order a Custom Sign Online?

To order a custom sign from K2K Signs, select a template, choose the available size, substrate and sign type, then enter your message or upload a reference image or artwork.

Review your selections before adding the sign to your cart. If you need to check the layout before printing, you can request an optional paid artwork proof for approval.

Which Materials Are Best for Custom Signs?

The right material depends on the sign's location, mounting surface and expected exposure.

Self-adhesive vinyl suits clean, smooth surfaces. Rigid plastic and metal work well for fixed wall or post mounting, while magnetic signs suit compatible metal surfaces when you need removable signage.

For outdoor custom signage, consider weather exposure, viewing distance and durability. Selected products may also offer reflective options where visibility in low-light conditions is important.

Can Custom Safety Signs Meet Australian Standards?

Yes, custom safety signs can meet applicable Australian Standards, provided their layout, colours, symbols, and wording satisfy the relevant requirements.

AS 1319-1994 (Safety Signs for the Occupational Environment) sets out design and use requirements for workplace safety signs. Custom road traffic signs may be subject to additional requirements under AS 1742, AS 1743 and the relevant road authority.

Custom text or a particular material does not automatically make a sign compliant. Check the requirements for its intended application before ordering.
